"Tongmao" (trade name) enterprise was founded in 1935 in Shanghai, China,by Shi Family on the former Du Father Road No. 130 (now Yonglian Road No. 130) , the main business was the maintenance of automotive engine cylinders and production of related accessories. In 1940, it was renamed as "Rongchang Automobile Repair Factory". In 1942, a branch factory " Rongchang Machine Factory" was established in Wuxi . In 1956, Wuxi Rongchang Machinery Factory was merged into Wuxi Power Machinery Factory (national backbone enterprise). After several decades of hardships and development, in 2002, Jiangsu Kaidi Dynamic Control System Co., Ltd.
