The two-stage electronic control VGT turbocharger system passed the validation successfully. According to the comprehensive evaluation,under the environment of an altitude of 5500 meters, technical parameters including the maximum torque of rated power,average torque(low-speed), minimum fuel consumption rate, average fuel consumption rate (low-speed), thermal load at different altitudes between 0-5500 meters and maximum combustion pressure .
At the same time, it is pointed out that the innovations of Kaidi’s system is outstanding, and the matching design and control strategy of dual VGT two-stage adjustable turbocharger variable altitude is a feasible solution. The variable altitude booster pressure of diesel engine meets the requirements .This project is one of the technological research and development achievements from Kaidi after the efforts of more than ten years.
